2006 Issue

IL TRIDENTE magazine had three quite separate yet connected lives over its 21 year history: '87-92, '92-'94, and '95-2007. It will be followed during 2009 by a brand new club publication titled "GranTurismo." IL TRIDENTE began as the local publication of Maserati Club of America, a Northeast Maserati group that has since become the Eastern Chapter of The Maserati Club. "IT" was first named the "finest reference publication on the marque published in the world today" by Dott. Adolfo Orsi in August of 1997, the beginning of its peak period. Beginning in 2002 TMC's club publication began garnering mainstream industry recognition winning the following awards for excellence in design and journalism:

At its height, "IT" was published on the highest quality stock available and included contributions from most of the world's foremost authorities on the marque. Adopting digital printing processes when it was still very new in automotive journalism, IT became a publication printed to the highest quality standards and production methods.
IT contained a wide variety of subject matter all relating to the Maserati marque. Now famous particularly for the important historical research conducted over her pages by Willem Oosthoek, IT contained:

  • Maserati Company news direct from Modena
  • Important, original historical research not available in any other publication
  • Articles from the world’s leading authorities on Maserati
  • Interviews with people who made Maserati history
  • Feature articles on TMC events and International Chapter news
  • In-depth comparison studies of the cars
  • Letters Column
  • Vendor ads, with services often discounted for TMC members
"IT" was published sometimes miraculously, and within the time constraints of its all-volunteer staff.

TMC Calendar - since 1999 we have published an award-winning TMC wall calendar.  Details on the current version can be found on the calendar page

IL NETTUNO newsletter - in 2004 we began publishing the iL NETTUNO North American club newsletter.  This is published in Acrobat .pdf file format and is available as a download from the members only section of this site (consult your local chapter).

All club publications are funded by the membership dues of TMC and advertising from a loyal group of Maserati service providers without both of which we'd have only a small club "newsletter." We maintain a good selection of back issues and a complete index can be found on our back issue index and ordering page
