Master Maserati Course + Spectacular May Events
MAY '06: Debut of Master Maserati Course at Road Atlanta: Maserati
North America's new Master Maserati Course debuted this month at Road
Atlanta and I can tell you from first hand experience, it's a winner!
Everything about this course is first-class.
Here is the beautifully
appointed classroom facility where you'll receive your primary
education. Attending at the debut (seated) were MNA President Jim
Selwa, Maserati CEO Karl Heinz-Kalbfell, Andrea Soriani, and Jeff
Ehoodin.
Hotel accomodations are at the neaby 4-star Chateau Elan.
A fleet of Maserati GranSport and Quattroporte comprise the track cars.
A challenging array of excercises include skid pad, controlled braking,
slalom, high-performance lane change, autocross and hot lap sessions.
At the debut we even got some demo laps seated in Maserati Trofeos
(above right).
MASER MIGLIA 9 - Modena, Venice Italy:
MM9 got off to a spectacular start in Modena when California Chapter
president Doug Magnon took delivery of his new MC12 Stradale, shown
here at the "unveiling."

Early (to MM9) arriving TMC members got a close-up look to the world's most spectacular looking car.
The happy owner, Doug Magnon and Cheyenne. Later in the day TMC
had a fantastic dinner along with guest, factory historian Ermanno
Cozza, in the center of the Panini Museo, one of the world's best
Maserati collections.
Then the games begun! On
Friday we drove on to meet with the other attendees (about 60 in total)
for "MM9: Un Giro di Venezia" in Venice, Italy.

2006 POCONO –CSD Boasts largest attandance ever!
Our annual Memorial Day POCONO-CSD event drew our largest attendance to
date and well over a hundred cars to the track days this year. Thanks
to organizer Joe Moore and TMC's Ron Lacey (below in his dream
car, the Costin-bodied 450S), as well as the rest of the hard-working
committee members, this event garnered a spectacular turnout. As
the staff of this event are unpaid, all-volunteer club members, all
proceeds from the event are distributed back to the organizing clubs
helping them to put on better events for the club members who attended
it, throughout the rest of the year.
